The 2011 project closing ceremony

On January 11, 2012 Anh Duong Community Development and Support Center organized project summarizing ceremony about the project activities in two districts of Phung Hiep and Long My. In the closing ceremony, there were chairman of Project Steering Committee (PSC), leaders of the department offices in the district, representing the Executive Board of the communes and all project staff.

The ceremony aimed to report all the project activities in 2011 and evaluate the effectiveness and impact of project activities to the local people. After hearing the reports, the delegates contributed their ideas on the project activities such as agriculture, school health, community health support, inclusive education programs, employment programs, environmental sanitation programs, women's rights program ... Ending the ceremony, Mr. Bui Van Thang (Vice Chairman of Long My district People Committee, Chairman of PSC) has given some conclusions as follows:

• The Executive Board of the communes should support the project activities better in 2012.
• The project should follow the criteria of the Department of Transportation about rural roads and bridges program.
• The project should assist the communes following the new rural commune program such as Thuan Hung and Vinh Thuan Dong and Long Phu.
• The employment generation project has created more jobs that contributed to increase significant incomes for rural people, especially poor women.
